AARP Pickleball Clinic Cheyenne 2025: The AARP Pickleball Clinic Tour will take place in Cheyenne on September 28, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon at The Picklr, located at 3471 East Lincolnway Avenue. The event is free and open to the public, with registration limited to the first 100 people.
Clinic Structure and Activities
The clinic will include on-court guided sessions led by licensed instructors. Activities will focus on warm-up, basic technique, skills building, and gameplay suitable for all levels. Participants will also learn about the six pillars for better brain health and opportunities to engage with AARP Wyoming.
From 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., instructors will guide newcomers through the basics, including rules and paddle skills. Open play will follow from 10:30 a.m. to noon, where players of all levels can practice in a drop-in format. Instructors will direct games by skill level to ensure everyone stays active and engaged.
Community Engagement and Accessibility
Jenn Baier, Senior Associate State Director of Outreach and Local Advocacy, said,
“We love meeting our Cheyenne members, their friends, and trying something new. If you can’t make the Clinic,
we’re also working with the Picklr to provide an interactive instructional video series via Zoom this August and September.”
The event is open to everyone, regardless of age or AARP membership. Even those who attended previous Pickleball events are welcome to join.
