Summer Smash Pickleball Tournament 2025: The FLX Pickleball Club will host its End of Summer Smash Tournament from August 22 to 24, 2025, at Arnot Mall in Big Flats, New York. Registration is open until August 19, and players must sign up as teams. Entry fees range from $10 to $55, depending on the division.
Venue and Facilities
The event will take place at the Southern Tier’s premier pickleball facility, located inside Arnot Mall. The venue offers six indoor courts, ensuring perfect playing conditions regardless of weather. Players will compete using the Vulcan VPro Flight ball. The facility also includes two restrooms, two changing rooms, and LED lighting. There is ample space for players to relax between matches.
Tournament Format
Matches will follow a Set Partner Pool Play format, leading into a Single Elimination Bracket. Pools will include four, five, or six teams, with each team playing once against every opponent in its group. Winners will advance to elimination rounds.
Schedule of Events
Friday, August 22, 2025: Singles (all levels), Women’s Singles, and 50/50 Doubles 4.0+ (coed).
Saturday, August 23, 2025: Men’s Doubles (M3.5, M4.0, M4.5+) and Women’s Doubles (W3.0, W3.5, W4.0+).
Sunday, August 24, 2025: Coed Doubles, including Kids’ Doubles (ages 10–16) and divisions C3.0 through C4.5.
Player Gear and Extras
Participants may purchase high-quality moisture-wicking shirts in sizes S through XXL. Orders must be placed by August 4, 2025, to guarantee availability.
Rules and Guidelines
All matches will follow standard USA Pickleball Association rules. Players are responsible for making line calls on their own side of the court. As the organizers note: “Spectators please just spectate.”
