SPORTIME Pickleball Unveils Massive Wayne Facility—18 Courts, Community Perks, and a Game-Changing Opening Weekend

SPORTIME Pickleball Wayne Grand Opening: SPORTIME Pickleball will open a new facility in Wayne, New Jersey, during the weekend of September 6–7. The launch marks another step in the company’s expansion across the Northeast, offering players 18 indoor courts and a range of community-focused features.

A Major Addition to the Pickleball Scene

The new location, run by SPORTIME Clubs, includes cushioned, climate-controlled courts, a stadium court, lounges, event spaces, and areas for fans to watch games. The design aims to create a facility that serves as both a sports venue and a community gathering place.

What Players Can Expect Opening Weekend

Opening celebrations will feature tours, open play sessions for beginners, pro shop discounts, raffles, and photo opportunities. Registration opens one month in advance, and early sign-ups will receive a free introductory membership valid through October 31.

“We are always striving to provide exceptional and innovative facilities and to create a vibrant community of players who all share the same passion for the game,”

said Joe Siegel, SPORTIME Pickleball’s managing director.

SPORTIME’s Growing Network

SPORTIME Clubs, the largest operator of tennis clubs in the New York area, has expanded quickly into pickleball. The company serves more than 70,000 active players and now provides multiple facilities across the Tri-State region.

“As we continue to open new pickleball facilities across our markets, and in new ones, our goal is to create vibrant, welcoming clubs,

where families can play together, where neighbors can connect, and where everyone feels supported and inspired to fall in love with the game,”

said Claude Okin, SPORTIME’s president and CEO.

Upcoming Openings and Membership Options

The Wayne site is part of a series of openings this fall. SPORTIME Pickleball Yorktown Heights in New York will debut September 13–14, and another location is set for Armonk later this year. With the new clubs, players will gain access to 30 courts in northern New Jersey and 23 in Westchester County.

Memberships begin at $20 a month, offering discounts, early bookings, and access to multiple clubs. Non-members can still book courts and join programs at standard rates.

Why It Matters

Pickleball has seen rapid growth nationwide, with players ranging from children to seniors. SPORTIME’s investment in new facilities highlights the sport’s popularity and provides dedicated spaces for players to connect, compete, and grow their skills.
