County’s Vision for Parks
Burlington County Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson said the county wants its parks to be accessible to everyone.
“Burlington County strives to be a destination for all people and these grants help make sure there are quality parks in all communities,”
Felicia Hopson said.
“No matter where you live, you should be able to enjoy our county’s beautiful outdoor spaces and the health benefits of outdoor recreation.”
Why It Matters
The funding comes from the county’s open space preservation tax. By investing in pickleball and other recreation projects, Burlington County is expanding opportunities for fitness and community connection. The projects are expected to bring more residents into parks while meeting the rising demand for pickleball facilities.
