Bellevue Pickleball Club Grand Opening: Bellevue will open its first dedicated pickleball facility this fall. PickleNation will launch the Bellevue Pickleball Club on October 1 at 44 Bellevue Way Northeast. The 35,000-square-foot indoor space will feature 13 full-size courts, marking the city’s first urban pickleball venue.
Facility Details
The club will take over the former Bellevue Consignments site, which operated from 2022 to late 2024. Before that, the building housed a Sports Authority. The City of Bellevue approved the plan to turn the property into an athletic space, giving the project the green light to move forward.
PickleNation’s Vision
The Bellevue Pickleball Club will serve as a flagship location for PickleNation. Susan Tai, co-founder of the food delivery app Fantuan, said in a PickleNation press release that pickleball can benefit both physical and mental well-being.
She added that the goal is to make the sport available to everyone, from casual players to corporate groups. Membership tiers and rates will be announced before the official opening.
Prime Location
PickleNation chose Lakeside Shopping Center for its central location and community setting. The club will be located near Starbucks, Café Bollywood, FedEx, and Orangetheory Fitness, making it easy for visitors to combine recreation with daily activities.
Bellevue’s Growing Pickleball Scene
The new club supports Bellevue’s broader efforts to expand pickleball. Until now, residents could play only at a limited number of courts in community centers and local parks. The club will offer a more professional space designed specifically for the sport.
Property Ownership
The site is owned by Bosa Development, which bought the property in 2021 for $127.5 million. The purchase included 44 Bellevue Way Northeast and 102 Bellevue Way Northeast, covering a total of 3.3 acres.

When it opens, the Bellevue Pickleball Club will bring a new recreational option to the downtown area. The facility will give players of all levels a place to gather, compete, and enjoy one of the nation’s fastest-growing sports.
