According to the Trust for Public Land, Madison ranks fifth in the United States for pickleball courts per person. The new indoor location adds to the city’s options and gives players a place to enjoy the game year-round.
Building Community Through Pickleball
Co-owner Damon Colhella highlighted the sport’s unique spirit.
“There’s so much, so much unique elements to pickleball, and the community element is so truly unique to the game, and we want to be fostering that in the best way that we can,” said Damon Colhella.
The owners explained their goal is to make Dill Dinkers a welcoming place for everyone. They hope it will serve as a hangout spot where people can relax after work, come with friends, or even arrive alone and meet new people.
