Brewery and Pickleball Hub: A new 35,000-square-foot sports and entertainment venue called Padeland will open this fall in Chandler, transforming the former LOOK Dine-In Cinema space at Chandler Boulevard and Arizona Avenue. The facility will combine padel, pickleball, dining, and wellness amenities under one roof.
Sports and Amenities
Padeland will feature four padel courts, five pickleball courts, and a full-scale craft brewery with a taproom. Guests will also have access to a restaurant, coffee bar, and wellness lounge. The lounge will include a sauna, cold water therapy, and open areas designed for remote work or study.
“Padeland bring together sport, community and great food and drink in a space that’s as exciting and inspiring as the game itself,”
said Daniel Maldonado, Co-Founder of Padeland.
What is Padel?
While pickleball is already well-known in Arizona, padel is making its debut in a big way. Padel is a mix of tennis and squash, played on a smaller, glass-walled court, usually in pairs. The game originated in Mexico and is now played by more than 30 million people in 140 countries, according to the International Padel Federation.
Access and Parking
Guests will be able to enjoy covered parking through a nearby five-story garage. In addition, Padeland has launched an online waitlist that offers exclusive deals and updates ahead of its official opening.
Impact
The opening of Padeland is expected to introduce many people in the Valley to padel while giving the community a new destination for recreation, dining, and wellness. Organizers hope the venue will become both a social and athletic hub for residents.
