Walnut Ridge Unveils State-of-the-Art Pickleball Courts—Residents Eager for Opening Day

Walnut Ridge Pickleball Court Opening: Walnut Ridge residents will soon be able to enjoy new pickleball courts at the city park. The city approved the project two weeks ago, and the courts are almost ready for use. They are expected to open for play by Monday.

Community Excitement

Patti LaFleur, leader of the project and regional distributor of Sport Court, said the new courts will be a valuable addition to the community.

“A lot of folks just slap down paint and put some lines on it, but the City of Walnut Ridge is actually providing athletic courts. I’m excited, these are going to be very well used,”(Patti LaFleur)

She added that many residents have already asked about the courts, showing strong interest even before they open.

A Step Forward for Recreation

The new courts are designed to give residents a proper place to play one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. By investing in athletic-quality courts, Walnut Ridge is supporting both casual players and those who want a higher-quality experience.

Looking Ahead

With the courts nearly complete, Walnut Ridge will soon have another recreational feature for the community. The project highlights the city’s effort to provide lasting spaces where residents can stay active and connected.
