Bowling Green Pickleball Courts Opening: The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department has announced that construction on eight new pickleball courts at the Bowling Green Community Center is almost complete. A soft opening has begun, giving players access to the finished courts while the rest of the project continues.
Soft Opening Underway
The department is allowing the public to use only the eight completed courts for now. The full project, which also includes building a shelter house, is still expected to be finished this fall.
Safety Precautions for Visitors
While the courts are open, space will be limited. Parks and Recreation officials are asking residents and visitors to stay away from the active construction zone. Those heading to the Bowling Green Athletic Fields should continue to use the designated fenced pathway to avoid safety risks.
Looking Ahead
The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department will share more details in the coming weeks. A grand opening celebration for the new courts is planned for this fall once the entire project is complete.
