Pickleball DRS Fall Classic Kansas: The Pickleball DRS Fall Classic will take place from September 5 to 7, 2025, at Tap N Paddles in Wichita, Kansas. The age and skill-based event is open to players 50 and older, with divisions for singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. Registration costs $55 and ends September 2, 2025.
First USSP Event in Kansas
This will be the first-ever United States Senior Pickleball (USSP) tournament held in Kansas. Tap N Paddles, home to PPA professional Jay Devilliers, will host the competition. The event is also supported by Michael Harris and his staff in a new partnership.
Tournament organizers expect up to 300 players. Entry is limited to either 300 total participants or when the director decides events are full.
Divisions and Formats
The competition will include men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s skinny singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
Formats will depend on the number of players:
Four or fewer entries: Double round robin to 15, win by 2.
Five to seven entries: Round robin to 15, win by 2.
Eight to nine entries: Round robin to 11, win by 2.
Ten or more entries: Pool play with playoffs, with top teams advancing.
Players are guaranteed at least four games in every event. Brackets may be merged or split depending on registration numbers. Medals will be awarded to the top finishers.
Membership Benefits
Registration is $55 plus $10 for each event. Members of USSP or the Super Senior International Pickleball Association (SSIPA) will receive a $10 discount.
USSP membership costs $20 per year, with discounts available for multiple years. Players can join at USSeniorPickleball.com.
USSP also awards annual prize points to its members. In past years, prizes valued at $20,000 were given to the top 10 players in each age group for both men and women. In 2025, points will be tracked from January through December.
Rules and Restrictions
The event is US Senior Pickleball approved. All games will follow USSP rules. No cash prizes will be given, and pets are not allowed at the venue.
The tournament director reserves the right to adjust formats depending on participation levels.
Refund Policy
The cancellation deadline is August 22, 2025. Players who withdraw before the deadline will receive a refund, minus a $15 administration fee and a $5 service fee.
“NO refunds will be given for any reason after the CANCELLATION DEADLINE, above. If you withdraw before the cancellation deadline, you will be issued a full refund minus the $15 administration fee and $5 service fee.. Registration fees are transferable upon discretionary review by the tournament director.”
