Level Up Your Game: Advanced Pickleball Strategy Class Launches in Midlothian This Fall

Pickleball Strokes and Strategy Class: A new pickleball training program, Pickleball Strokes and Strategy 103, will run on Mondays from September 8 to September 29, 2025, at Chesterfield Technical Center – Hull in Midlothian. The class, led by instructor Linda Scott, is designed for players aiming to reach the intermediate 3.0 level.

Designed for Experienced Players

This class is for athletes who have completed Pickleball 101 and Pickleball 102 and have been playing for at least six months. Some requirements may be waived with the instructor’s approval before registration.

All participants must be at a similar skill level because drills will use the Tudor Pickleball Machine. The program focuses on learning to “play smarter, not harder” through advanced training.

Skills and Strategy Training

Players will practice essential shots including the drop shot, block shot, volley, and overhead. The course also covers doubles strategy.

By the end of the program, players are expected to be comfortable joining open and rotational play with others at the same ability level.

Organizers recommend wearing tennis or court shoes and using protective eyewear during play.

Schedule and Rain Date

Classes run every Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the outdoor courts at Chesterfield Technical Center – Hull.

If a class is rained out, the makeup session will take place on Monday, September 30.

Refund Policy

Refund requests must be made in writing at least three business days before the class starts. Refunds are automatically given if a course is cancelled. If the schedule, time, or location changes in a way that prevents attendance, participants will also be refunded. However, non-recoverable costs cannot be refunded.

Lasting Impact

The program helps local players strengthen skills and strategies, preparing them to compete confidently at the intermediate level. With structured coaching from Linda Scott, participants will leave with the tools to play effectively in more advanced matches.
