Palm Desert Advanced Pickleball Clinics: The City of Palm Desert will host intermediate to advanced pickleball clinics from Friday, November 7, to Friday, November 21, 2025, at Palm Desert Civic Center Park, 43900 San Pablo Avenue. Classes will run every Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., led by instructor Mary Barsaleau.
Clinic Focus
These group clinics are designed for players who have achieved dependable strokes with directional control on medium-paced and some faster shots. Participants will continue developing depth, variety, and strategic play, including aggressive net approaches, the “third shot drop,” dinks, soft shots, angled hits, lobs, and varied pace.
Drop-In Participation
Drop-in players are welcome with prior approval from the instructor. Payments must be completed before the clinic, and receipts presented to Mary Barsaleau on the day of the session.
Location and Age Group
The clinics are for adult players and take place at Palm Desert Civic Center Park, a central location for community recreation and pickleball activities.
Benefits and Goals
The clinics aim to improve skill consistency, tactical decision-making, and court awareness. Players will gain experience in combining different shot types and controlling points, helping them become stronger, more versatile competitors.
