Serve Up Change: Clovis West’s Pickleball 4 a Purpose Tournament Empowers Students With Special Needs

Pickleball 4 a Purpose Tournament: The Clovis West Pickleball Club is holding a pickleball tournament at the Clovis West High School courts on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Registration costs $50 per team ($25 per player). Proceeds will support students with special needs and disabilities through local programs.

Event Details and Registration

Check-in begins at 7:45 a.m., and matches start at 8:30 a.m. The tournament welcomes all skill levels and is part of the “Pickleball 4 A Purpose” initiative. Registration closes on September 23, 2025. Prizes will be awarded to players on the first, second, and third place teams.

Those unable to participate can still donate. Checks should be made payable to Clovis Unified with “CW Pickleball Club” in the memo line and mailed to Clovis West High School, 1070 E. Teague Avenue, Fresno, California, 93720.

Supporting Special Needs and Adaptive Sports

Funds raised will benefit Unified Sports in Clovis Unified and Magic Fresno. Unified Sports allows students with special needs to compete against other school teams in various sports. Magic Fresno provides adaptive sports training and opportunities for youth aged three and older with physical, intellectual, mental, or genetic disabilities.

Community Engagement

The Clovis West Pickleball Club hopes to bring the community together through a fun and competitive event. The tournament encourages participation from all ages and skill levels while raising awareness and support for adaptive sports programs.
