An Indoor Pickleball Round-Robin Tournament for men will take place on December 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the John M. Brown Community Center, located at 53 Hunter Street in Apex. The event will be held in Gym 2 and is open to players rated 3.0 or higher.
Tournament Format
The tournament will feature a unique setup. Each male and female participant will be randomly paired with a different partner of the opposite gender for up to six games. Scores from each match will be added to individual totals.
After six rounds, the top two male and top two female players with the highest points will advance to a two-game playoff. The playoff will determine the overall winners.
Age and Skill Level Requirements
The competition is open to seniors ages 55 and older. Participants should already be familiar with pickleball and meet the self-rated skill level of 3.0 or higher, as defined by USA Pickleball standards.
