Paddle Battle for Kids’ Health Tournament: The Healthcare Network will host its first “Paddle Battle for Kids’ Health” pickleball tournament on Saturday, September 20, at the USOP Pickleball Center. The event aims to raise money to support access to quality healthcare for children in Collier County.
Supporting Kids in the Community
Jamie Ulmer, the president and CEO of Healthcare Network, said the goal is to give back to children who lack access to specialized healthcare services.
“We wanted to do something that supports their health, something that we can put back in our community for those children who do not have access, who do not have the ability to pay for specialized services,” (Jamie Ulmer).
Fun for the Whole Family
The event will feature a Kids’ Fun Zone with inflatables. Children can stay active and entertained while parents watch the pickleball matches or connect with the local community. The tournament combines sport, family activities, and charitable support for children’s health.
Why It Matters
By raising funds through this tournament, the Healthcare Network hopes to improve healthcare access for children in Collier County. The event also provides an opportunity to bring the community together and raise awareness about pediatric healthcare needs.
