How a Pickleball Tournament Is Transforming Education for Kids in Ghana—And Inspiring a Community

Pickleball Tournament for Ghana Education: The Paula Marshall Foundation held a tournament called “Pickleball With a Purpose” to raise funds to help children in Ghana receive an education. The event brought the community together for a charitable cause while promoting the importance of learning.

Supporting Education in Ghana

The foundation has built multiple schools in Ghana, providing education to over 1,000 children. The tournament aimed to continue supporting these efforts and expand educational opportunities for more kids in the region.

Paula Marshall, the CEO of Bama Companies, highlighted the value of education for children everywhere.

“What I see in the kids in Ghana, they really appreciate the opportunity to get an education. Sometimes, I want to say that to our kids here in the U.S. Don’t take your education for granted.

It’s really important for you to be able to grow in life and grow economically and do things that you want to do and travel. You won’t be limited if you keep learning,” (Paula Marshall).
