Next Level Pickleball Appleton Expansion: Next Level Pickleball announced it will close its Green Bay location on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, after just nine months of operation. The company plans to sell equipment and shift its focus to expanding its Appleton facility.
Closure Details and Equipment Sale
The Green Bay facility will sell C&D Pickleball nets, a Pickle Roll court surface, paddles, benches, a 75-inch TV, and other items. Discounted paddles and balls will also be available. The company is scheduling time slots for community members to visit before the closure.
“We want to sincerely thank our Green Bay community for your support over the last nine months. This was not an easy decision, but ultimately, a change in vision for our company led us to focus our energy and resources on Appleton and future growth opportunities.”(the company)
Appleton Expansion
While the Green Bay location closes, Next Level Pickleball says its Appleton facility is “continuing to grow strong,” with plans for further expansion. The company first opened an indoor pickleball model in Appleton in July 2024, followed by a New Franken location, which quickly saw high demand. Co-owner Mark Danen told Local 5 News that interest in pickleball in northeast Wisconsin was strong enough to support multiple facilities.
Next Level Pickleball offers private, single-court rentals, allowing both new and experienced players to set their own pace. Despite the closure, the company encourages Green Bay fans to play one last time.
“We hope with the rain over the next couple days you’ll come get one last chance to play with us before we close our doors,” (the company).
The business plans to share more updates soon on its Appleton expansion, aiming to build on one of the region’s fastest-growing recreational sports.
