Pickleball 102 Supervised Practice Beulah Recreation: North Chesterfield’s Beulah Recreation Center will host Pickleball 102 – Supervised Practice Drill and Play from September 22 to September 26, 2025. The sessions, led by instructor Linda Scott, run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. The course aims to prepare participants for Beginner and Advanced Beginner Leagues, as well as Open Play.
Course Details and Requirements
Pickleball 102 is not for beginners. Participants must have basic skills in pickleball before registering. The course is a continuation of Pickleball Beginner 101, which participants must have completed. Exceptions are possible if a player has been active for at least six months and receives the instructor’s permission.
The first class will focus on “The Short Game,” while the third session will cover “Strategy for Winning Each Point.” Participants are required to wear eye protection—such as regular glasses, sunglasses, empty frames, or safety glasses—and proper court shoes, including tennis, pickleball, or volleyball shoes.
Location and Schedule
All sessions are held in the gym at Beulah Recreation Center, located at 6901 Hopkins Road, North Chesterfield, 23234. The classes are designed to give players hands-on experience and guided practice to improve their skills quickly.
