Arch Fall Open Pickleball Tournament Returns: Medals, Rivalries, and First-Timer Thrills Await in Bridgeton

Arch Fall Open Pickleball Tournament 2025: Arch Pickleball and Badminton will host the Arch Fall Open from September 19 to 21, 2025, at 11333 Blake Drive, Bridgeton, Missouri. The tournament, organized by Cindy Butler, is a social yet competitive event using a round-robin format, offering a great opportunity for first-time competitors and seasoned players alike. Registration ends September 15, 2025.

Tournament Format and Schedule

The Arch Fall Open features set partner round-robin matches with no playoff brackets. Teams compete against all others in their bracket. Medals will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each bracket. Matches include:

  • Friday, September 19, 5:00 PM – Singles

  • Saturday, September 20, 9:00 AM – Men’s Doubles

  • Saturday, September 20, 1:00 PM – Women’s Doubles

  • Sunday, September 21, 9:00 AM – Gender Doubles

Game Rules and Equipment

Games are played to 11 points, win by 2, with teams switching sides at 6 points. Each team has two one-minute timeouts per game. The tournament uses Arch Brand balls, similar to Franklin X-40, and all players referee their own games following USAPA rules. Scorecards must be completed by the winning team and returned to tournament operations. Cindy Butler may adjust brackets or combine small brackets if needed.

Registration and Fees

Players must register and pay as a team. Entry costs $40 per player. Participants should check in 30 minutes before their bracket starts to ensure timely play.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds are available until the registration close date, minus a $15 fee. No refunds will be issued after registration ends, so players are encouraged to plan ahead.
