Pickle Haus Unveils More Indoor Courts—Is Middlebury Becoming a Pickleball Hotspot?

Pickle Haus Indoor Pickleball Expansion: Pickle Haus at Das Dutchman Essenhaus in Middlebury has added three new indoor pickleball courts, bringing its total to six. Meeting Local Demand

Randi Yoder, Pickleball Director at the Pickle Haus, highlighted the need for more indoor pickleball options in the Middlebury-Goshen area.

“As we have started this process with our ribbon cutting, we have six indoor climate controlled courts. We are the only facility in the area strictly dedicated to pickleball.

We’ve had a lot of interest of people saying we need more indoor pickleball facilities in the Middlebury-Goshen area, and so we’re helping to fill that need,” (Randi Yoder).

New Facilities and Accessibility

The three new courts expand the facility’s offerings, allowing more players to practice and compete indoors. Starting October 1, visitors can drop in and play for up to two hours for $10, provided there are no scheduled group games during that time. The upgrades also include a new check-in area and restrooms with showers, improving the overall experience for players.

Supporting Pickleball Growth

The expansion of Pickle Haus reflects growing interest in pickleball in Middlebury. By providing more indoor space and better amenities, the facility makes it easier for players of all skill levels to practice, meet others, and enjoy the sport year-round.
