Columbus’ Hottest Pickleball Spot: Adult Open Play Returns to Westgate Community Center

Adult Open Pickleball Westgate Community Center: The Columbus Recreation and Parks Department (CRPD) will host Adult Open Pickleball at Westgate Community Center, 455 S. Westgate Avenue, Columbus, 43204. Sessions run every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., starting September 16 and continuing through November 18, 2025. A $10 Adult Sports Pass for Spring 2025 is required to participate.

About the Open Play

Adult Open Pickleball provides a space for adults to play, practice, and enjoy the game. No instruction will be offered during these sessions. Players can use their skills freely in a casual setting.

Registration and Sports Pass

Participants must have a valid Adult Sports Pass. Passes from Spring 2025 or day passes from 2023 are accepted. The pass is valid at all CRPD community centers during scheduled adult open play times.

Schedule and Location

The sessions take place at the Westgate Gymnasium inside Westgate Community Center. Note that there will be no sessions on November 11, 2025.

Participation Requirements

Players must be adults and have a current Adult Sports Pass. No prior experience is required, but participants are expected to follow gym rules and play safely.
