1st Birthday Bash Pickleball Tournament: The American Cancer Society is inviting players to join the 1st Birthday Bash Pickleball Tournament at 3rd Shot Pickleball in Evansville, Indiana. Tournament Details

The event celebrates the one-year anniversary of 3rd Shot Pickleball’s grand opening. Katrinka Rynder of the American Cancer Society and Gina Adams from 3rd Shot Pickleball shared the details with Eyewitness News. The tournament will feature indoor play on eight courts with portable tension nets, a sports bar with TVs, and other amenities.

Divisions and Format

Divisions include gender doubles, mixed doubles, 50+ age groups, and an Open Pro Cash Division. Matches will follow a round-robin format, with top teams from each division advancing to playoff rounds. Friday includes 50+ gender doubles and the Open Pro Division, Saturday features any-age gender divisions, and Sunday is mixed divisions for all ages.

Rules and Prizes

All USAPA and UPA certified paddles are allowed, and the tournament follows 2025 USAPA rules. Prize money is awarded for the Open Pro Cash Division only: $800 for first place, $400 for second, and $200 for third. Refunds are available minus pickleball bracket fees until October 1, 2025; no refunds will be issued after that date.
