ServeTember Pickleball Showdown Returns: What’s New at Miami’s Hottest Tournament This Fall?

ServeTember Pickleball Showdown: The Dink Club will host the ServeTember Showdown from September 25 to 28, 2025, at the Dink Club Pickle Ball Courts in Kendall, Florida. The tournament features multiple divisions, DUPR-rated play, and a set partner pool play format followed by a single elimination bracket. Registration closes September 21.

Event Overview

The ServeTember Showdown offers four days of competitive pickleball at 10911 Southwest 112th Avenue, Kendall, FL 33176. Marcelo Reyes is the tournament host. Each player must register and pay as part of a team, with a registration fee of $55 per player. All teams will receive free team shirts.

Divisions and Rules

The event is DUPR-rated, and divisions have new rules. Each division has a strict combined DUPR rating cap to ensure fair competition. Not Rated (NR) players are assigned a rating equal to the division they enter. Players in Men’s 3.5 and 4.0 divisions no longer have individual rating limits.

Schedule of Play

Matches begin Thursday, September 25, with Women’s 3.0 at 5:00 PM and Mixed 4.0 at 7:30 PM. Play continues through Sunday, September 28, featuring events including Men’s and Women’s singles, Mixed doubles, and various skill-level divisions. Participants are advised to arrive 30 minutes early.

Format and Equipment

Matches use Franklin X Balls. Pool play guarantees each team a minimum of four games, with each game to 11 points, win by 1. Playoffs advance the top 4–6 teams or the top 3 from each pool if two pools are used. Medals are awarded to winners and runners-up.

Registration, Waivers, and Policies

All players must have a DUPR account. Ratings will be verified at registration and two weeks before the event. Refunds, minus fees, are available only until September 21, 2025. By registering, players agree to the tournament waiver. Minors require a guardian’s signature.

Weather and Other Considerations

The tournament is outdoors. Organizers will make reasonable efforts to continue play if weather interrupts matches. Decisions during mid-play interruptions will be made case by case.
