Eagle Glen Grand Opening Tournament Promises Thrilling Pickleball Showdown, Cash Prizes, and Community Excitement

Eagle Glen Grand Opening Tournament: The Eagle Glen Pickleball Club in Corona, California, will celebrate its grand opening with a three-day tournament from Friday, September 26, 2025, to Sunday, September 28, 2025. Players of all skill levels can compete for medals, prize money, and bragging rights in amateur and professional divisions.

Event Schedule and Registration

Registration for the tournament is open until Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 9:00 PM PST. Amateur players pay $65 per event, with late fees increasing to $75 after September 16. Professional divisions cost $90 per event, rising to $100 after September 16. Pickleball Brackets will also collect a $5 fee per event, with a maximum of $10 per person.
All events will follow a round robin format with playoff matches for the top teams. Start times for each event will be posted after September 18. Matches begin on Friday with men’s and women’s singles for both amateurs and professionals from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Saturday will feature men’s and women’s doubles for amateurs and mixed doubles for pros from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Sunday wraps up the competition with mixed doubles for amateurs and men’s and women’s doubles for pros during the same hours.

Tournament Rules and Player Guidelines

“DUPR: Only Amateur Division scores will be reported,” organizers announced. Players will receive court assignments by text message and must update their profiles and opt in for texts. Participants must report to matches on time.
Games will vary by pool size. Pools of four or five teams will play games to 15, win by one. Pools of six or seven teams will play games to 11, win by one. Lead-in playoff matches will be games to 15, win by one. Bronze medal matches will be games to 15, win by two, and gold medal matches will be games to 15, win by two. Professional divisions will include quarterfinal, semifinal, and medal rounds.
All players must arrive at least 30 minutes early to sign the Eagle Glen Pickleball Club waiver form. Players are responsible for using paddles from the approved USA Pickleball equipment list. The tournament will follow Official USA Pickleball 2025 rules but is not a sanctioned USA Pickleball event.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

“Withdrawals BEFORE September 15, 2025 will be refunded by Eagle Glen minus a $15 administrative fee,” the organizers stated. Players who withdraw after September 15 will receive no refund. Any service fees collected by pickleballtournaments.com are non-refundable and separate from Eagle Glen’s fees. Refunds will be issued seven days after the tournament ends.

Prize Money and Awards

Professional players will compete for significant prize money if minimum entry requirements are met. Men’s and women’s pro singles divisions will award a total of $1,500, with first place earning $350, second place $250, and third place $150. Men’s and women’s pro doubles divisions will each award $2,000, with first place earning $1,000, second place $600, and third place $400. Mixed pro doubles will award $2,000, with payouts of $1,000 for first, $600 for second, and $400 for third.
