Wailua Parks Courts Set for Temporary Closure—Upgrades Promise Smoother Play for Tennis and Pickleball Fans

Wailua Parks Court Maintenance Closure: The Department of Parks and Recreation announced that the tennis and pickleball courts at Wailua Houselots Park and Wailua Homesteads Park will close for maintenance. Wailua Houselots Park courts will be closed from September 29 to October 1, and Wailua Homesteads Park courts from October 6 to October 8.

Maintenance Work Details

During the closures, crews will paint the concrete wall between courts and install windscreens on the fences. The windscreens are designed to reduce wind, making serves and shots easier to control for players.
