Wilmington Community Pickleball Tournament Victory: Team Rome captured the championship title in the second annual Wilmington Community Pickleball Tournament by defeating Team Tessie on Saturday at the Wilmington High School tennis courts. The event featured 18 teams and raised funds to support the Wilmington High School Lady Hurricane basketball program.
Community Event Draws Big Support
The tournament brought players and fans from across Clinton County for a day of competition and fundraising. Wilmington High School girls basketball coach Judah Jamiel praised the strong turnout and the many people who helped make the event a success.
“It was humbling to see so much support from all over Clinton County. Huge thanks to our amazing staff and players who served and worked hard to make this day possible.
