Pickleball 102 Supervised Drills Launch: David King will lead the Pickleball 102 – Supervised Practice Drill and Play sessions at Harry G. Daniel Park at Iron Bridge, North Chesterfield, from Wednesday, October 8 to Friday, October 10, 2025. Classes run from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a rain date scheduled for Saturday, October 11.
Course Purpose and Requirements
The course is designed to help participants gain confidence to join Beginner/Advanced Beginner Leagues and Open Play. It is not a beginner course. Participants must have basic pickleball skills, either by completing Pickleball Beginner 101 or having at least six months of experience with instructor approval.
Class Focus
Each day of the three-day course has a dedicated focus: the first day covers “The Short Game,” the second day emphasizes “The Full Court Game,” and the third day teaches “Strategy for Winning Each Point.” The instructor will provide paddles and pickleballs for participants.
Equipment and Safety
Participants must wear eye protection, such as regular glasses, sunglasses, empty frames, or safety glasses. Court shoes suitable for tennis, pickleball, or volleyball and sunscreen are also required.

The sessions will take place at Daniel Park – Pickleball #2 and Pickleball #3 at Harry G. Daniel Park at Iron Bridge, 6600 Whitepine Road, North Chesterfield, 23237. Classes are scheduled from Wednesday, October 8, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
