PAC Autumn Classic Pickleball Tournament: The Pickleball Athletic Club will host the PAC Autumn Classic Tournament on September 27 and 28, 2025, at 2000 Anchor Court in Thousand Oaks, California. Players can register until September 24, 2025, for $75 per person, with all matches following a set partner round-robin format. Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each bracket.
Tournament Details
The competition will feature fixed doubles teams playing up to seven games in each bracket. Events are divided by skill levels, with men’s and women’s divisions scheduled on Saturday and men’s, women’s, and mixed divisions on Sunday. Players will compete in 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 skill levels, including separate 50+ categories. All games will be played to 11 points, with a side change at 6 and a win by 1 point. One timeout per team is allowed per game.
Registration and Requirements
Each team must register and pay together, and players must have a DUPR account to participate. DUPR rating limits apply: 3.49 maximum for 3.0 events, 3.99 for 3.5 events, and 4.49 for 4.0 events. The tournament will be managed through the Swish app, and at least one player per team must have the app on their smartphone. A 20% discount is available on a second event with the code “twoevents.”
Venue and Amenities
The Pickleball Athletic Club is known for its high-quality courts and spectator-friendly environment. Lunch and drinks will be provided by a taco cart from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extra refreshments for sale. Each participant will also receive a free tournament T-shirt. The official ball for the event is the Franklin X-40.
Rules and Tie Breakers
Winners will be decided based on win-loss records. If teams tie, the decision will follow a series of tiebreakers: head-to-head results, point differential, head-to-head point differential, and point differential against the next-highest team if needed.
Refund Policy
Players can request a refund before September 22, 2025, minus a $10 service fee. Withdrawals on or after that date will not receive a refund. Pickleball Brackets service fees of $5 are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 days after the tournament.
