Pickleball Breast Cancer Awareness Event: AdventHealth Georgia’s Cancer Care team will host Pickleball for Breast Cancer Awareness on Sunday, October 12, at Pickleball 706 in Calhoun, Georgia. The event is free and open to the public, inviting the Northwest Georgia community to play, watch, and support breast cancer awareness.
Event Details and Registration
Participants are encouraged to wear athletic shoes. Equipment will be provided, and t-shirts will be given to pickleball players. CiCi’s Pizza will provide food. Registration is open to all, and attendees can enjoy prizes, giveaways, and raffle items.
Schedule of Activities
The day begins with open play and instruction from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM. At 1:00 PM, the “Hats Off to Breast Cancer Health” event will take place. Survivors will be honored at 2:00 PM, followed by an exhibition match featuring professionally ranked pickleball players at 3:30 PM. Open play and instruction continue from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

AdventHealth Georgia encourages the community to come out, cheer, and participate. The event raises awareness for breast cancer and provides an opportunity for residents to engage in a healthy and social activity.
