Last Chance to Join: Adel Fall Pickleball Leagues Closing Registration This Friday

Adel Fall Pickleball Leagues: The Adel Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registrations for its fall indoor Men’s and Women’s Pickleball Leagues, but sign-ups close this Friday. The leagues will begin on October 12 and run through December 14, finishing with an end-of-season tournament at the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School south gymnasium.

Details on Teams and Cost

Recreation Supervisor Ramona Dillinger said the leagues are open to adults who are at least 18 years old and out of high school. Each team will consist of two players, and the registration fee is $50 per team. The season will include regular matches leading up to the final tournament.

Future League Plans

Ramona Dillinger shared that the Adel Parks and Recreation Department is considering adding a spring and summer league.

“We will provide more information as that gets closer,”

she said, noting that the current focus is on making the fall season a success.

With pickleball’s popularity on the rise, the Adel indoor leagues give residents a chance to stay active through the fall while enjoying friendly competition. Spots are limited, and interested players are encouraged to register before the deadline.
