Free Registration and Limited Spots
Registration for the clinic is entirely free but is limited to the first 50 participants who sign up through this provided link. To complete the registration, participants must sign a General Liability Waiver. In addition to learning pickleball skills, attendees will have the opportunity to explore AARP’s six pillars for better brain health and discover exciting ways to get involved with AARP in Wisconsin. This makes the clinic not only an opportunity to learn a new sport but also a chance to gain valuable information about maintaining cognitive and overall health.
Event Details and Schedule
The pickleball clinic will be divided into three distinct sessions, each tailored to different aspects of the game:
- Session 1: Intro to Pickleball (5 – 6 p.m.) – This session will focus on introducing the fundamentals of pickleball, including basic rules, strokes, and strategies.
- Session 2: Pickleball Skills & Drills (6 – 7 p.m.) – Participants will engage in targeted drills and exercises designed to improve their skills and techniques on the court.
- Session 3: Pickleball Open Play (7 – 8 p.m.) – This session provides an opportunity for participants to put their newly acquired skills into practice during open play.
Each participant may register for only one session, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience. The AARP Pickleball Clinic Tour arrives in La Crosse on August 5, offering a unique opportunity for players of all levels to learn and enhance their pickleball skills.
