Pop-Up Pickleball Networking Event Set for August 22

Pop-Up Pickleball Networking Event: The Jamestown Young Professionals (JYP) are set to host a “Pop-Up Pickleball” networking event from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, at Michael LaGrega Memorial Field in Lakewood. This event is designed to bring together individuals of all skill levels for an enjoyable and active networking opportunity.

Open Invitation for All Skill Levels

JYP extends an invitation to players of all skill levels to join this informal gathering. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends, family members, or significant others to participate in the evening’s activities. The event is free and open to the public, offering a perfect chance for newcomers to meet JYP members and learn more about the organization.

Courts, Instructions, and Networking Opportunities

The event will feature six pickleball courts. For those unfamiliar with the game, JYP members will provide instructions and brief demonstrations.

No Registration is Needed and Equipment Details

No prior registration is required for this event. In the case of a high turnout, JYP will organize lower-point games to ensure quick turnover on the courts. Additionally, a “JYP Rehydration Station” will be available for attendees to learn about pickleball, try out paddles, and socialize. A limited number of extra paddles and balls will be provided, but players are encouraged to bring their equipment if available.
