Olympic Peninsula Seniors Excel in Pickleball at Washington State Senior Games

Olympic Peninsula Seniors Excel in Pickleball: Several senior athletes from the Olympic Peninsula earned accolades at the Washington State Senior Games earlier this month, showing impressive skills in pickleball.

Mike Nizic and Mark Dana secured the gold medal in the men’s doubles for the 55-59 age group. Steve Bennett and Robert Rankin achieved a similar feat, winning gold in the men’s doubles for the 75-79 age group.

In the men’s singles, Don Church claimed gold in the 70-74 age group, with Phil Milliman taking silver. Bennett also earned silver in the men’s singles for the 75-plus age group.

The women’s doubles 75-84 category saw Beverly Hoffman and Jeannie Ramsey bring home the silver medal.

In mixed doubles, Mary Critchlow and Church earned silver in the 70-74 age group, while Hoffman and Bennett secured silver in the 75-plus mixed doubles category.
