New Pickleball Courts In North Attleboro Set to Open

New Pickleball Courts In North Attleboro: North Attleboro’s latest addition to its recreational facilities, new pickleball courts at Mason Field, will officially open this Saturday. Located on Elm Street in Attleboro Falls, these courts represent a significant upgrade to the town’s recreational offerings.

Dedication Ceremony and Inaugural Tournament

A dedication ceremony will take place at 11 a.m., regardless of weather conditions. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony with brief remarks from town officials, followed by an inaugural pickleball tournament. Town Manager Michael Borg is set to play a ceremonial game to kick off the tournament, which will then proceed with a single-elimination round-robin format. The tournament is free and open to participants of all ages and skill levels.

Event Details

The parks and recreation department will provide paddles and balls for the tournament, but participants are welcome to bring their own. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Throughout the event, attendees can enjoy music from a DJ, light refreshments, and information booths from various boards, committees, and commissions.
