However, construction here is expected to be delayed until after the start of the new year. Like the YMCA courts, these will also be well-constructed and well-lit, ensuring a great environment for players.

Bowers Park is set to be the crown jewel of Tuscaloosa’s pickleball facilities. The plan includes a massive 23-court complex, with three designated as championship courts. This state-of-the-art facility will be able to host major tournaments, attracting players from across the region.
The courts will be professionally lit, ensuring top-tier playability. However, such an ambitious project comes with challenges; the development of these courts is expected to face significant delays, potentially pushing the opening date out by at least a year or more.
