Beachside Bash to Fund ALS Fight: In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, we invite you to an exciting beachside fundraiser hosted by IBeach31, Deb Sarkisian, and a team of dedicated organizers. The event will be held at 750 E. 181st, Westfield, IN 46074, and is open to the public. Join us for a day of fun and fundraising on the beach!
Event Highlights:
- Coed Quads Tournament: Teams of four, including at least one female player, will compete in pool play followed by a single elimination tournament.
- Ice Bucket Challenge: Bring your own bag of ice, and we’ll provide the buckets. The team with the most creative ice bucket video will win a special prize.
- Raffle Prizes: Additional prizes will be available through a raffle. More details on the raffle will be provided soon.
Fundraising Goal: 50% of the proceeds will support Deb Sarkisian, a dedicated pickleball player diagnosed with ALS in 2022. Deb, the mother of player Kailey Kniola (Sarkisian), has seen her condition progress, and she now uses a wheelchair full-time. The funds raised will help cover the cost of a specialized wheelchair and a wheelchair-accessible van, both crucial for her daily needs and ongoing battle with ALS.
