Newington’s Pickleball Clinics: Fall Sessions to Elevate Your Game

Newington’s Pickleball Clinics: Newington Parks and Recreation is thrilled to announce that registration is now open for its Fall Pickleball Clinics. Scheduled to take place at the Mortensen Community Center, these clinics cater to both adults and youth, offering an excellent opportunity to enhance pickleball skills or to get introduced to the sport.

The 6-week Adult Pickleball Clinic is designed for players of all levels. The clinic will run from September 13 to October 18, with sessions held every Friday:

  • Beginner Class: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Intermediate Class: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Fees are set at $120 for Newington residents and $130 for non-residents. To participate, interested individuals must register and submit payment by September 9.

In addition to the adult clinic, a 6-Week Youth Pickleball Clinic is available for players aged 8 to 17. This clinic will also be held on Fridays from September 13 to October 18, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The cost for youth registration is $120 for residents and $130 for non-residents.

Both clinics will be held at the Mortensen Community Center, located at 200 Garfield Street, Newington, CT 06111. Spots for these clinics are limited, so early registration is encouraged to secure a place in the program.
