“Tadeo and I used to play pickleball three times a week, spending two to three hours each time,” recalled his Uncle, Jose Villavicencio. “We are a big family, a very close family,” added Augusto Villavicencio, Tadeo’s other uncle. The Villavicencio family’s dedication to each other was evident in their enthusiastic support for the tournament, reflecting Tadeo’s spirit.
Community Efforts and Call for Justice
Johnathan Tierney, a close friend of Tadeo, described him as “very caring, very generous.” He noted that Tadeo was always ready to help, “no matter what.” Augusto Villavicencio remembered him fondly, saying, “I never saw him mad, always laughing.” In the wake of Tadeo’s death, many community members have rallied to support his family.
Event organizer David Sellers emphasized the community’s commitment: “That’s what we’re trying to do here, stand up for his family and make sure no one forgets.” Additionally, Tadeo’s Uncle Jose Villavicencio has urged anyone with information about the crime to come forward, stressing the profound impact of the loss on his family.
