Senior Pickleball Takes Stage at the PALA Challenge: The inaugural PALA Senior Challenge by Reign is set to take place on September 21-22, 2024, at the Pala Pickleball Club in Spring, Texas. This exclusive event for senior players promises to be a highlight on the pickleball calendar, featuring a competitive Round Robin format and exciting medal rounds.

Tournament Format

The tournament will follow a Round Robin format in the group stage, ensuring each team plays a minimum of three games. Teams will then advance to seeded brackets for the medal rounds, competing for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

  • Group Stage: Round Robin with a minimum of 4 teams per group.
  • Medal Round: Seeded brackets with medals for top three positions.

Skill Levels

  • 50+ and 60+
  • 70+
  • 3.0 & 3.5+
  • 4.0+

Brackets may be split by age group depending on the number of entries.

Registration and Ratings

All players must have a DUPR account and be added to the PALA Pickleball Club to ensure accurate results are uploaded to DUPR. The Pickleball Brackets rating system will be utilized for this event.

Prize Money

Available for Men, Women, and Mixed Open categories, based on the number of entries.

Refund Policy

  • No Refunds: After September 14, 2024.
  • Additional Information: Specific start times for each event will be posted and emailed to players three days before the tournament.
