The club will also feature social and dining lounges, highlighted by a self-pour wall from “Pour My Beer,” offering a variety of local craft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails. The concept will cater to the fast-growing pickleball community in the North Shore area, combining sports with a luxurious environment.
Culinary Offerings and Lounge Atmosphere
In addition to its sports facilities, DINX will offer grab-and-go café options from Hometown Coffee & Juice, a popular North Shore breakfast and coffee spot. The venue’s design includes lounge seating, vibrant purple and pink pickleball courts, and a bar area marked by a neon “Drinx” sign, creating a chic and inviting atmosphere.
Strategic Location in Highland Park
Finding the right location for DINX Social Club was a complex task, according to Cushman & Wakefield, the real estate firm behind the lease. The chosen site in Highland Park meets the club’s requirements for ample space, high ceilings, and a layout that accommodates the sports and social elements of the concept. The location also offers easy access and ample parking in a high-traffic area with affluent demographics.
Competing Sports Facility in the Area
DINX Social Club isn’t the only new sports venue coming to Skokie Valley Road. The Highland Park Park District has announced plans for an indoor pickleball and padel facility, expected to open in the winter of 2024-2025. This new facility will feature 10 pickleball courts, four padel courts, a café, and a pro shop, further solidifying Highland Park as a hub for racket sports.
