The Highvern Pickleball Summer League wrapped up on Sunday at the St Clement’s Golf and Sports Centre, celebrating a season of impressive performances and significant milestones for the sport on the Island. Tom Price, the founder of Jersey Pickleball, highlighted the achievements and growth of pickleball, emphasizing the league’s role in advancing the sport.

“It’s been a fantastic time for Pickleball on the Island. We had local players competing at the English Open for the first time ever. We also had our first-ever triple champion crowned in John [Pasturel], which is a magnificent achievement for a player to complete. The sport is growing from strength to strength and that’s in large part to the fantastic community we have surrounding us.” – (Price)
