Pickleball Fundraiser Win 4 All Returns with a Mission to Empower Girl

Pickleball Fundraiser Win 4 All Returns with a Mission: The Win 4 All Pickleball Tournament is set to make a return for its second year, scheduled for Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, with a kick-off event on Friday, September 20. This event, sponsored by TQM Wealth Partners, aims to benefit Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn, reinforcing its commitment to empowering young girls.

A Purpose-Driven Fundraiser

The tournament is designed to bolster Girls Inc.’s mission of nurturing smart, strong, and bold girls, particularly those from low-income families. Marcel V. Quiroga, a board member of Girls Inc. and founder of the tournament, emphasizes the organization’s role in supporting at-risk girls. “Girls Inc. of Lynn is an 83-year-old organization that helps girls be smart, strong, and bold, and helps them develop their full potential,” Quiroga explains. “And these are girls that are at risk of falling through the cracks, if you will, because they come from low-income families.

Community Engagement and Volunteer Support

Quiroga, a Marblehead resident and pickleball enthusiast, believes the sport’s accessibility and inclusivity make it an ideal vehicle for fundraising. “Last year, we held the first tournament, and this year, we’re bringing it back in full swing,” she says. The event benefits from the efforts of about 12 Marblehead women who volunteer their time, many of whom have daughters and recognize the differing opportunities available to their own children compared to those served by Girls Inc. “All children have a right to have a place of safety, but not all of them have the guidance that maybe our daughters have,” Quiroga notes.

Ambitious Goals and Unique Offerings

With a fundraising target of $30,000, the Win 4 All Tournament seeks not only to meet its financial goals but also to create a memorable experience for all participants. Quiroga highlights the event’s unique offerings, noting, “Not a lot of pickleball tournaments offer breakfast and lunch included in the registration. So having fun is really important and doing it for a good cause, it’s magic.

Registration and Participation

Participants and supporters are encouraged to join the tournament, which will be held at the Manchester Athletic Club. For more information on registration, volunteering, and donations, visit pickleballbrackets.com and search for “TQM” in the keywords section.
