South Jersey Open Pickleball Tournament: Where Top Players Meet a Worthy Cause

South Jersey Open Pickleball Tournament returns for its third year from October 4 to October 6, 2024, at Atkinson Park. This year’s event, known as the South Jersey Open, will feature a series of competitive matches and support a noble cause — raising awareness and funds for the Gloucester County Animal Shelter.

Tournament Details

The South Jersey Open will cater to players of various skill levels, ranging from 3.0 to 5.0, and will include categories for ages 9 to 49, 50 to 64, and 65 and older. The tournament will end in an open bracket for advanced players (4.5+), featuring prize money for top finishers.

The event schedule is as follows:

  • Friday, October 4: Singles, Coed Split Age, Men’s Junior
  • Saturday, October 5: Men’s & Women’s Doubles
  • Sunday, October 6: Mixed Doubles

Registration and Fees

  • Registration Fee: $60
  • Event Fee: $15 for Amateur Events, $45 for Open Events

Players are encouraged to register by September 13 to receive a complimentary T-shirt and a free Open Play pass to Players Courtyard Pickleball Club. The pass, valued at $15, will also waive the guest fee for non-members, making it worth $25. Additionally, gold medal winners in each bracket will receive an extra Open Play pass.
