  • Mary Brascia, with Tucker and Alyssa Horton of Horton Media, documented her experience at the Veolia LA Open. “The filming experience was super fun,” Brascia shared. “Our dates aligned, so we could coordinate filming the weekend of the Los Cab tournament, which was awesome because Los Cab is home for me, so I felt really comfortable being at my home courts and I had friends around. It was just a really special weekend to document.

Showcasing the Pickleball Community

Brascia hinted at more content to come and said- “Yes. Tucker and I specifically have already talked about making more things in the future, and maybe something on Maggie, so we’ll see, stay tuned, We’re also going to have more pickleball lifestyle and instructional content coming to our YouTube channel. I’m working on a new project right now called “Places to Dink” where I’m going to give insight into the various places someone can go play pickleball when they’re in a given city.”

About MARY BRASCIA

Mary Brascia, originally from Mission Viejo, California, discovered pickleball in 2020 through her parents and quickly developed a passion for the sport, playing daily ever since. Her competitive journey began with her first PPA tournament in Las Vegas in October 2020, where she triumphed in the 5.0 division. Since then, Mary has achieved multiple medals in both professional singles and doubles events, notably introducing her signature sho.

The “Mary-Go-Round,” at a Major League Pickleball event in 2022. In the 2023 season, she secured her first PPA silver medal at the Acrytech Atlanta Open in Women’s Singles, crediting her defensive prowess and agility for her success. Additionally, Mary enjoys the dynamic exchanges of quick-hand play and competes alongside her sister Maggie in Women’s Doubles.
