Pickleball players in the Kansas City area are gearing up for a unique event: the 3v3 Team Halloween Pickleball Spooktacular. Set for October 26-27, 2024, at the Epic Center in Independence, Missouri, this tournament promises a weekend filled with competitive play, festive costumes, and a spirited pre-Halloween celebration.
The pickleball tournament will feature two 3v3 events: Gender 3v3 matches on Saturday, October 26, starting at 8 a.m. or later, and Mixed 3v3 events on Sunday, October 27, beginning at 8:30 a.m. or later. Each team will consist of three players, with combinations of either two men and one woman or two women and one man, adding strategy to the matchups.
Participants can register for up to two events—one gender and one mixed—for a single entry fee. Early bird pricing is available at $60 (plus applicable taxes) until August 23, 2024, with general pricing at $65 (plus taxes) beginning September 1.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each division, including medals and gift cards. In keeping with the Halloween spirit, costumes are optional but encouraged, with special prizes for the best-dressed male and female players.
Organized by All Out Pickleball, the event at the Epic Center, located at 19310 E. 50th Terrace, Independence, MO, aims to bring together the pickleball community for a weekend of fun and friendly competition. Players of all skill levels are welcome to participate in this lively celebration of pickleball and Halloween.
