Ken Howle, Executive Director of Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center, anticipates a strong response from the pickleball community. “We do believe we will have some tournaments that will most likely want to take place here – both local and maybe even regional tournaments,” Howle said. “We are in the center of Haywood County – such just a perfect location for a pickleball tournament where we could attract people from around the region to come and enjoy Haywood County and the beautiful amenities here.”
