Burlington’s Exciting New Pickleball Complex: Unveil the Venue That’s About to Transform Your Game!

Burlington’s Exciting New Pickleball Complex: The Sports Facilities Companies (SFC) has inked a significant partnership with the City of Burlington, North Carolina, to oversee the management of the upcoming Burlington Pickleball Complex and the existing Pickleball courts at Fairchild Park. This collaboration is set to elevate the pickleball scene in the region with the complex scheduled to open this fall.

Complex Details

Currently under construction, the Burlington Pickleball Complex will boast 16 dedicated pickleball courts and a championship court. The facility aims to be a cornerstone for pickleball enthusiasts, offering a top-tier playing experience.

Tony Laws, director of Parks and Recreation for Burlington, expressed enthusiasm about the project: “We’re excited to partner with The Sports Facilities Companies and create a first-class pickleball experience for the Burlington community and beyond. This will be a gem of a venue and something we know the city will be proud of.

Management and Leadership

Rachel Vinson has been appointed as the general manager of the new facility. With over a decade of experience in the sports sector, including roles such as sports director and executive director at the YMCA, Vinson brings a wealth of expertise to the role. Her leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in attracting regional tournaments and ensuring the smooth operation of the complex.

SFC’s Commitment

John Sparks, SFC’s vice president of venue management, highlighted the company’s commitment to enhancing the community’s wellness and economic strength. “We are excited to partner with Burlington and contribute to the success of this vibrant pickleball complex,” Sparks said. “Leveraging our regional event, tournament, team, and facility partners, we aspire to enhance Burlington’s community wellness and economic strength. We are committed to being a valuable and collaborative asset on this journey.

News in Brief: Burlington’s Exciting New Pickleball Complex

The Sports Facilities Companies will manage the new Burlington Pickleball Complex, set to open this fall with 17 courts. The partnership includes oversight of daily operations, marketing, staffing, and maintenance.
