Kentwood’s New Pickleball Hub: Kentwood’s pickleball enthusiasts have reason to celebrate following a significant milestone in the development of their new community hub. On Thursday, project leaders, local officials, and supporters gathered for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Dinks & Dingers Social Club, located at 5080 Broadmoor Ave., near 52nd Street in Kentwood. This event marks the beginning of what promises to be a premier destination for pickleball players.

A Comprehensive Facility for All Seasons

Dinks & Dingers Social Club will boast an impressive array of amenities. The facility will feature six indoor pickleball courts, ensuring players can enjoy the sport regardless of weather conditions. Additionally, there will be four covered and heated outdoor courts, allowing for year-round play.

Beyond pickleball, the club will offer a diverse range of recreational activities, including a wiffle ball field, ping pong, shuffleboard, and cornhole.

Community and Social Engagement

Owner Andy Anderson, renowned for his victory at the Beer City Open pickleball tournament, envisions Dinks & Dingers as more than just a sports venue. Anderson previously shared with News 8 his goal of creating a space where the pickleball community can compete and connect.

The club will host monthly tournaments, nightly leagues, and a variety of events, including birthday parties and corporate gatherings. Membership options will be available, alongside public access, fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment for all pickleball fans.
