Tournament Structure
Skill Levels
- Beginner (3.0 and under)
- Low Intermediate (3.0-3.5)
- High Intermediate (3.5-4.0)
- Advanced (4.0 and above)
Participants will compete in two age categories: 49 and Under and Over 50. Each age group will feature four skill brackets: Beginner (3.0 and under), Low Intermediate (3.0-3.5), High Intermediate (3.5-4.0), and Advanced (4.0 and above).
Depending on registration numbers, the Tournament Committee may add or combine age/division brackets to ensure a high level of competition.
Key Information
An important update for participants is the change of venue to Peak Pickleball Club, with all singles events scheduled for Saturday. On-site food options and coffee will be available for purchase, while tournament players will receive complimentary fruit and healthy snacks. Early Bird registration fees apply through August 27, with regular fees from August 28 to September 24. Registration will close after September 24.
The pickleball tournament schedule includes Men’s and Women’s Doubles, Singles, and Skinny Singles on Saturday, followed by Mixed Doubles on Sunday. Notably, results from this event will be reported to DUPR. Participants must link their Pickleball Brackets account with their DUPR account during registration. Those without a DUPR account can create one at www.mydupr.com before signing up.
Refund Policy and Weather Contingencies
Refund requests must be made before September 24, 2024, to be eligible, minus a $15 processing fee. In the event of adverse weather, including rain or lightning, play will be suspended, but every effort will be made to complete the scheduled events.
Venue Details
The tournament will take place at the Peak Health & Wellness Pickleball Center, which features a hardcourt surface suitable for indoor and outdoor play. The venue boasts ten permanent courts, and parking is free for all attendees. Players will use Franklin balls throughout the tournament.
