Pickle for Progress Tournament: Pickle for Progress is set to be an engaging pickleball tournament, festival, and fundraiser organized by Black River United Way. This annual event emphasizes the fun and camaraderie associated with pickleball while supporting the organization’s mission to improve early childhood success and enhance disaster resiliency in the local community.
The pickleball tournament will take place at East Bay Park, featuring various competitions, including Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles for players aged 66 and above, and Mixed Doubles for those aged 65 and under. Participants will compete in player ranking divisions of 2.5 and under, 3.0 and under, 3.5 and under, and 4.0 and under.
In addition to the matches, the event will offer food trucks, vendors, and activities, creating an exciting atmosphere for all competitors and spectators.

Refund Policy
- All registration refund requests made before September 1st are eligible for a 50% refund, minus a $5 processing fee from Pickleballbrackets.com.
- Transferred or additional registrations will incur a $5 fee.
- Refund requests made after September 1st will not be eligible for a refund.
Weather Policy
- Should inclement weather result in the cancellation of the event on September 28th, a rain date is scheduled for Sunday, September 29th, 2024.
- If the rain date also faces weather issues, the tournament will be rescheduled for the following weekend.
